As Country Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the pawaPay operations within the Central African Republic. You will report directly to the Head of Cluster - West and Central Africa, and demonstrate a proactive attitude towards task execution and delivery of core company objectives. You will demonstrate experience of working within the industry to form an expert view on our product and confidently communicating this to internal and external stakeholders.

As the Wallet Operations Team Lead, you will oversee the Group's MNO wallets across all markets. While transactional reconciliation is performed by in-house tools, the Wallet Operations team ensures accurate reporting and cash handling through comprehensive oversight and appropriate checks and balances. The team handles customer-facing top-up and settlement requests, monitors wallet liquidity, executes transfers with MNOs, and manages the final settlement via the Group’s banking partners. Liaising with MNOs and customers is a key responsibility.

The successful candidate will solve challenging problems in a fragmented financial infrastructure with proven ability to embed processes and controls to mitigate risk and simplify workflows.

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join our Platform/Integrations Teams. Platform/Integrations Teams are responsible for developing and maintaining both payment integrations with our partners (telecommunication companies) and core components of the system. All this whilst ensuring the security, stability, sustainability, and maintainability of our platform.

Additionally, you will enhance our current offerings to ensure faster implementation, easier maintenance, and improved scalability and availability.

We are looking for a Compliance Manager who is fluent in both French and English to help us achieve our ambitions. 

As Compliance Manager your overall goal will be to help protect the Company’s payment licences, and in ensuring we have a well functioning compliance team that manages risk and process well whilst providing an excellent service to merchants and regulators alike. You will support the Compliance Operations of the company in its onboarding, monitoring and reviewing of merchants and transactional activity in the organisation. As a French speaker, you will be the lead contact for our regulators in Francophone markets, and take the lead on reviews of all French documentation as required by the Compliance team.

As a Senior Developer with expertise in Java and related tools such as javascript, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
